Journey into these artists new works, as he captures his vision on canvass.
Canvasses that are littered with bodies torn to shreds, perhaps the tendency for self destruction?
The once playful landscape are now defined by floating bodies. Bodies that could only serve as feast for the crows, clandestinely hidden beneath the earths fertile soil, modified landscape that were actually discarded limbs, thighs and human scraps.
The works in all it’s grimness, craftily concealed the stench of flesh and blood that dominates this body of works. With the artists skillful sense of color fusing them together, to an untrained eye it looks like a mere abstract expressionistic angst ridden masterpiece but to the discerning eye the pieces are more than these twist and distorted shapes. It’s more of a representation of man’s violent destructive nature.
The new works presents the artists maturing subject matter and style dipping strength and courage from what he sees and feel in present times, confronting these realities or hallucinations or at times prophetic visions with the brush keeps him at peace with his inner turbulent self.
